Crowdlending Investment Portfolio

Breakdown of capital into September 2026

Portfolio summary

In September, our crowdlending portfolio rose from €254,154 to €292,659, representing a capital gain of €38,505. This figure comprises €33,710 in transactions and €4,795 in liabilities: not all of the growth is attributable to returns. It was a month of significant changes; we also sought capital through divestments in crypto and the stock market, and we reallocated positions within the portfolio. Loanch briefly took the top spot during the month, but by the close of trading INDEMO regained the lead with €38,785, ahead of Loanch and Ventus Energy. With 43 platforms and assets under management approaching €300,000, we have strengthened some positions whilst reducing others to free up liquidity.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What do «Buy», «Sell», «Close» and «InvantLabs» mean in the table?

These are my plans for each platform over the coming months; they are not investment advice. Buy: I’m holding on to it and continuing to invest. Sell: I’ve stopped reinvesting and am withdrawing funds as the loans mature. Close: I’ve closed the position or am exiting entirely.

InvantLabs is my test bed: platforms where I invest a small amount to check for myself that they pay out, that withdrawals work and that the information is reliable, before committing any real capital to them. It is neither a licence nor a quality mark; it is simply a status of my portfolio.

2. How is «historical interest» calculated, and what does it include?

This is the average annualised return on the portfolio since I started investing, not the return for the month. That’s why it doesn’t change much between month-ends: each month adds a single data point to a long time series, and neither an exceptional month nor a poor one has much impact on the average. If you’re looking for the result for the month, you’ll find it in the interest received section of the statement.

It is calculated on the basis of the capital actually invested, weighted by the proportion of each platform, and includes the interest actually received. It does not take taxes into account, as these depend on each investor’s tax situation. In the table, each platform also shows its individual historical interest rate.

3. Why has the portfolio’s value fallen this month if you say you’ve made a profit?

Because the total value of the portfolio and the monthly return are two different things. The total value also goes up and down due to capital movements — deposits, withdrawals, tax payments, money I need for other things — and those movements are neither a gain nor a loss: they are simply my money coming in or going out.

The measure of whether I’ve made a profit is the organic return: the interest collected and accrued during the month. In the summary on this page, you’ll find the two figures listed separately – the total change and the interest for the month – precisely so that you can distinguish the cash flow result.

A month may end with a lower total capital balance and still have been profitable; this is usually the case when I withdraw money for other purposes. Profitability is measured by the returns generated by the loans, not by the balance.

4. Which platforms have I opened and closed this month, and why?

The month’s additions and removals are marked in the table: new entries are labelled «New» and removals are labelled «Close». The analysis above explains the specific reason for each change.

The approach is always the same. I start with a small amount, as a trial, and only increase my investment once the platform has proven that it pays on time and that withdrawals actually work. I pull out when warning signs appear — delays that are no longer one-offs, deteriorating information, unexplained changes — and never because of a single poor month.

Rotating things like this is part of the strategy, not a crisis: testing new platforms with limited capital is what enables you to spot the good ones before most people do, and to cut your losses in time on those that go wrong.

5. How can I check that this information is genuine?

Each month-end report includes a video going through the accounts one by one, with the balances displayed on screen on the balance sheet date. The figures in the table are taken from there: they are not estimates, nor are they the returns advertised by the platforms, which is where almost everything published in this sector comes from.

The cut-off date is always the same day of the month, so the figures are comparable with one another, and the historical data remains published exactly as it is, including the poor months. If anything doesn’t add up for you based on what you see in the video, let me know and I’ll correct it in the article itself.

Analysis of the portfolio of September 2026

What worked

The lead change sums up the pace of September rather well. INDEMO It closed once again as our largest position, at €38,785: we added €5,000 and recorded €250 in interest. Loanch It even managed to exceed its target for the month. Its balance rose from €10,080 to €37,235, following a net increase of €27,000 and liabilities of €155. The promotional campaign played a key role in this increase. We also gave a significant boost to Bondora, which reached €20,130 following a movement of €14,000. Its total liquidity, as always, is useful to us within our portfolio. Debitum It rose to €16,581, with a net movement of €4,800 and €200 in interest. We are continuing to test their Flow product and would like to explain that experience in more detail. Lonvest y Mintos (where we resume investments) also increased, with transactions of €2,000 and €1,000 respectively. Overall, trading activity was not limited to the largest positions. Stock State It received €600 and we continue to balance new additions with disposals across various platforms, within a portfolio that now comprises 43.

What didn’t work

The pace of these moves came at a practical cost: we had to seek liquidity and offset new positions with substantial cutbacks. The most noticeable reductions were ESKETIT (8.000 €), TWINO (5.200 €), Monefit (€2,050) and ViaInvest (€1,900). We’ve also reduced the price Lendermarket at €1,300. We regard these as capital movements and exposure adjustments; on their own, they do not amount to losses nor do they indicate a shortfall in performance. We do, however, have matters that require monitoring. In ViaInvest, we felt that outstanding payments were improving, but we do not regard the situation as having returned to normal: we might reconsider our position if those amounts were to fall to very low levels. In Ventus Energy, the balance stood at €34,288. We have approved the restructuring and are keeping a close eye on this matter; it remains one of the largest positions in the portfolio and we do not wish to overlook the uncertainty surrounding it.

Outlook for the coming month

In Loanch, we will monitor how the promotional campaign progresses and what the balance stands at in December. We hope that the rewards will be close to €800 and that the balance will reach around €39,000–40,000 by the middle of that month, but these are expectations, not confirmed results. The capital tied up in the position will not be available before 1 December. We also intend to publish new analyses: in October, on TWINO Flexi; and later on, about Flow from Debitum and the development of Ventus Energy following the reorganisation. In ViaInvest We will continue to monitor outstanding payments and may reconsider returning if they return to normal. In the meantime, as the figure is close to €300,000, we are considering gradually reducing our exposure in crowdlending, without specifying any amounts or a timetable.

At the same time, we will continue to develop the new website, with more reviews and sections still to be added, including the academy and the multilingual experience.
